Ninebanks is a small village in south west Northumberland, England in the North Pennines 8 miles north-east of Alston by road. It is noted for the late medieval (Jacobean) Pele Tower, which is a 17th century bastle house made of sandstone and has four floors, the lowest of which is now below the level of the road. There is a youth hostel outside the hamlet at the settlement of Mohope some 1 mile away.
